Skeleton Plot and Master Chronology

The objective: To find the mirror image of the patterns How to move the skeleton plot (try it on the right):
  • Put the mouse cursor in the gray region of the plot
  • Click and hold the left mouse button
  • Move the mouse left or right
How to know when you have a match:
  • All of the skeleton plot marks -- and even the "b" marks -- should line up with those on the dated master chronology
  • The mirror imaging should be visually obvious
  • If it's not obvious, the text above the skeleton plot will let you know

Good idea: Click the "Try Again" button to have more chances to match patterns of a skeleton plot and master chronology

Note: When you try skeleton plotting for yourself, you can move the master by mouse clicking within the time-series part (shaded gray above) and moving left or right
